동문 여러분 안녕하십니까? 구로고등학교 동문 축구회 이하 구동축은 2005년 9월 9일에 창립하여
13년 동안 항상 동문들과 함께해 온 친숙한 동문 모임으로서 그동안 총동문회의 주 축으로 활동해 왔다고해도 과언이 아닐 것입니다.
저희 구동축 모임은 1기 졸업 동문선배님들부터 29기 동문 후배님들까지 세대를 불문하고 둘째주, 넷째주 토요일과 매주 일요일마다. 즐겁게 운동하고 친목도 도모하고 있습니다.
짧다면 짧은 운동 시간을 갖고 나면 평일의 일상이 더 활기차고 의욕 넘치게 되는 것 같습니다.
한바탕 땀 흘리고, 무조건 믿어주는 동문님들과 술 한 잔으로 인생을 나누다보면 가는 세 월이 마냥 아쉽지만은 않은 느낌이 듭니다.
현재 구동축의 총회원은 100여명이고, 매주 꾸준히 활동하는 활동회원은 75명 정도입니다.
저희 모임은 축구를 사랑하는 구로고등학교 동문여러분 모두에게 문이 활짝 열려 있습니다.
구동축 모임 회원들은 매주 학교 운동장에서 축구로 체력을 단련하고, 다른 축구 동호인들과 시합하며 즐겁게 운동합니다.
적당한 승부욕은 생기 있는 삶을 위한 필수요건이니까요. 뿐만 아니라 운동이 우리 모임의 목적이지만, 동문 축구 모임이라는 특성상
구로고등학교 재학 후배님들에게 정기적으로 장학금을 전달하고, 지역사회의 발전을 위해 사회적 목소리를 내는 등
우리 모임이 추구하는 정신에 부합되도록 구로고등학교 동문축구회는 오늘도 계속 발전중입니다.
시간은 쉬 흘러 2018년이 되었습니다. 올해는 기념적인 행사도 많아 총동문회와 동문 모임 임원들이 체계적인 준비를 하느라 많은 노고가 있으리라 생각됩니다.
즐거운 마음으로 기대 하고 있습니다. 세월을 보내면서 가슴에 깊이 남는 것은 결국 소중한 벗들과 추억뿐인 것 같습니다.
그런 의미에서 구로고등학교를 졸업하면서 얻은 소중한 인연을 올해도 소중히 만들 어 가겠습니다.
